GSR SILVER all-steel tap wrench with centering eye
The body is cast from the finest stainless steel, cut out with waterjet technology and milled into shape on a CNC machine. The movable jaw is made of hardened tool steel. Combined with the perfect statics of the steel body, maximum tensile strength is achieved.
Precisely machined threads in the tap wrench body and on the steel handle allow for tight clamping of the tap.

1. Solid steel body
Dimensional accuracy and surface quality are the typical advantages of the investment casting process. The molten steel is poured into wax patterns dipped in ceramics, which then melt out. The most important alloying element is carbon. The tensile strength and yield strength make the material suitable for highly stressed components.
2. The handles
The handles are made of machining steel and have a fine fish skin knurling at the ends of the handles. This increases the grip. The working hole at the end of the movable handle can accommodate a spindle toggle. It facilitates the clamping of the tap. The movable handle has a fine thread for clamping the square tool without play.
3. The adjustable clamping jaw
The angle of the clamping jaw is precision-eroded, the jaw itself is burnished, hardened and connected to the adjustable handle by a cotter pin.
4. The centering eye
The centring eye enables perpendicular cutting. The procedure is very simple: first the tap is screwed in until it grips. Then the fine adjustment can then be made via the spirit level by aligning the spirit level bubble centrally.
