Quality assurance (QA)
A good quality assurance is essential to ensure that the tools you receive are of high quality and meet our strict requirements. Periodical controls of the tools’ size and condition guarantee a consistent quality. Therefore, modern test equipment is used in order to make the analysis as efficient as possible.
Furthermore, continuous product development ensures that existing products are improved and thus our quality standard upgraded. We pursue not only to hold our standards, but also to constantly improve them – so our goods remain the only real standard.
Quality management (QM)
In order to not only meet customer expectations, but also regulatory requirements, we have been ISO certified. The DIN EN ISO 9001 sets certain minimum requirements for our quality management and ensures that also our management is subject to a continuous improvement process.
The certification looks at key processes (e.g. purchasing and sales processes), management processes (e.g. QM documentation and audits), and supporting processes (e.g. staff training and complaints processing). The actual values are compared with the target specifications and changes as well as improvements are defined in the event of deviations. This ensures that our company exhibits the best quality possible in all business areas.
Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)
Our manufacturing subsidiary in China, “Hangzhou GSR-Threads Tools Co., Ltd”, successfully completed the BSCI audit in December 2017!
But what does BSCI mean?
BSCI is an economic platform for improving social standards – worldwide. The code of conduct offered by the BSCI is based on international contracts for the protection of workers’ rights.
The initiative’s areas include: working conditions, occupational safety, working hours, discrimination, child labour, environmental protection, forced labour, etc.
In order to make sure that all participating companies implement this code of conduct in their supply chain, a BSCI audit is implemented. The companies commit to integrate 2/3 of the production facilities in defined risk countries into the BSCI process within a certain period of time.
Certificates Quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
GSR Gustav Stursberg GmbH has had itself certified for the Quality Management System according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in order to convey a clear message of professionalism and conscientiousness to its customers at first glance.
In addition to the already mentioned ISO certification DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, we also have the DIN EN ISO 14001:2015. As the personal data of our customers is very important to us, we have committed ourselves to data protection according to the GDPR with the help of the ITTR data protection kit.
